My career in dancing started with Ballet at 5 years old. At the age of 11, I discovered that I had a passion for Street and Hip Hop dance and went on to focus on these dance styles for the rest of my career whilst still training in Modern and Contemporary. Street dance is a dance style that was started to create a social environment, encouraging interaction and contact with spectators and other dancers. This makes it enjoyable for anyone, spanning from an amateur level to an advanced student. It includes dance styles such as Locking, Waacking, and Hip Hop dance, which is what this class is predominantly focused on.
